| But if there is 1 crimer i say that it's luck. Of course you can make huge income if there isn't other crimers. It would be different if there would have been like 5 other crimers who aren't total noobs. If there is 1 president of course he take over the whole world | |
| If a criminal can become that strong, it's either luck or well-done diplomacy... or a combination of both.
You either have to keep other criminals away from you and need to cope with potential presidents until you get strong enough to build an army... or you need luck (or whatever you can call that) so your enemies fight each other instead of you.
This round it was pretty easy though, because first, there were only three criminals with an underground strength above the 10000 mark for a really long time - so, no competition pressure and no threatening enemy here.
Second, each of the two/three major unions was busy getting advantage over the other. In their differnt alliances the unions were about equally strong all the time, so no-one could afford spending lots of money fighting crimes - again, no danger in this respect.
Later when Taco was pretty strong already, everyone tried to get him on the own side, instead of seeing him as the real (future) danger. And what could have been done anyway, as noone had the money for the needed ordinances? | | | Orz it is so, if you are stronger than other crimer you try to take her crimcities. i then whe i was so strong it had other 2 crimer but i destroyed them.

| Yeah, the reason there was only 1 crimer is because I completely destroyed anybody who thought about gathering criminals. Thats not luck, that's smart. I assassinated any players who could be a threat by gathering Criminals, and I snapped up the biggest cities in the world so they would be under my control and others could not gather crime in them. That is smart.
You can call me a noob but you would have a hard time finding a player that knows the game as well as I do. Ask Paul Hindenberg if I tought him anything new this round about the game. I have been playing a long time, my first round was before any of yours with the possible exception of Hindenberg and Tai. It was 11 or 12 I think, but under a different name. I'm such a noob. You're the noob Mary J, with your zero points and excuses for your poor performance. ROFL!!!
You people who are saying it was luck, last time I checked a president was able to stop crime by passing laws, and there were how many players playing as president this round? Why could they not just take over countries and stop my crime? As far as diplomacy goes, its all part of the game which would indicate I did a good job by making things happen this way. Simply the best, get over it.
| In my first post I said IF you were only crimer in the beginning of the round. But if you destroyed other threats who really were threats not some total noobs then nice job | | | @ taco you made and make o good work with crime thats great.
my first round was in Round 12 as Generalfeldmarschall. After that i change my name or account and in round 13 it my realy first game with my name what i have it now.
So i saw tayrik was in round 7 i think his first game. ^^
so i am a old player here but rop and Deadly Otter are older than i and other peaple are also older here.

| | | I blame Taco's strenght on worldwide freemason conspiracy! ... er, or actually presidents in whose area of influence he first set up his criming, if I remember correctly it was somewhere near India so probably Tofu or Spongebob are to blame because INN and DM weren't active in that area as far as I can remember.
btw, my first round was 13, with first points in 14, so another old fart here in vino veritas
| Ryan of Tofu had India, China and Pakistan as president when I started. He was making some good money as president, but I could make a lot more doing crime. I told Ryan this, and I told him that if he stepped down as president and allowed me to do crime in these countries that I would pay him the same amount of money each day that he was getting from tax in these countries and that I would keep whatever was left over. I don't think he realized just how much money that was, because it only took a short time before I had a much bigger army than him in these countries. I stayed loyal to Ryan all round, although I quit paying him money when he became inactive. The brief period where I attacked him was just a ploy to make everyone think that we were not really working together. This allowed him to be on spongebob as my double agent, which worked quite well. Perhaps it was lucky that Ryan had these countries with no crime, but it was not luck that I was able to gain control of them. It was all skill. | |
| If you simply click the fame statistics, all active players are sorted by ID - thus you can see, that I'm the second oldest player, who is still playing. Lucio is on the first place; Taco ranks 24th. |
