Thema: "People Problem"

Why do "the citizens of Mashhad refuse to pay their taxes and organize a coup de tat, relieving me of my mayor's office" again and again, and how do i stop it? Really annoying me.

ITs your mayor fame!!!
unbekannt, Sa, 16.4.05 1:49:30:

ok, so how do i stop the people from kicking me out?
unbekannt, Sa, 16.4.05 1:59:40:

by either not being mayor for a long time so then your rating can go down, or you can take over the country and enact ordiances so that your ratings will go down. but somebody might lead a revolution why ur mayor rating is crappy. can one of the people that know alot about this game tell me whether im right or wrong
unbekannt, Sa, 16.4.05 2:32:54:

correction up not down i dont think it could go any further down but yea you have it right
unbekannt, Sa, 16.4.05 2:35:15:

ok then, on to tehran.
Rinkadink, Sa, 16.4.05 2:35:42:

It's correct. You get kicked out and don't get taxes because you have a political fame lower than -300% (= 3 protest signs).

As ChisAto already mentioned you can either leave the office for a while, until your fame betters (which will take a long while). Or you can take over the country and make ordiances. Or you can become a loyal mayor, taking over the land and make yourself the mayor.
The more loyal offices you hold the faster and higher your fame rises.
The bonus for one loyal city however is worth nothing. For that reason you can only try the ordiances in the case of Mashhad, because the underground is full of criminals (the reason, why your fame is that bad), which will affect your fame much more than the "loyality-bonus". Or you can leave it, which definitely will be the easier way.

ok, so enact the crime ordinances...and my fame will rise? thats it?
Rinkadink, Sa, 16.4.05 3:25:53:

Yes, as soon as the ordinances are active and you are the loyal mayor your fame will rise (relatively fast*), but it will still take time in which everyone can start a revolution.

So if you have enough time to go online quite often you can leave the office empty and then take it over before the taxes are paid, for the ordinances work all the time (without a mayor; as long as the city remains loyal) and for this is also the time when your fame changes (of the ordinances)

In this way, you could minimize the chances for revolutions and holy wars, while you still get your fame rising.

*the more extrem the fame is, the slower it changes. Around 0% you can get 30% rebel fame with only one gathering, while you'll only get 1% when you already have 300% (3 stars) rebel fame.

-> since you have -300% political fame it will rise very slowly at first until you near 0%
